Summary
A modding passion project that was made for a multiplayer game of EU4. The mod was based on a conversion from CK3 and I made all the missions, ideas, and formable decisions.

Mission Trees
The mission trees, which are goals nations can work towards that will then give rewards upon completion, were designed as flow charts, adjusted, and then implemented into the mod. They took the most time to iterate on and to balance due to their size. All mission trees, were wholly designed, implemented, and iterated on by me, with others giving feedback.
One of the things that hasn’t been featured in EU4 yet was missions that would be locked depending on other nations. In my mod Etruria, Allobrigia, & Macedonia, can all seek to put an end to the question of Alexander’s legacy, which can only be completed by one of these nations. As soon as one of them completes the mission, the others can not, making it a sort of race between these nations.

National Ideas
The same 12 nations with unique missions also got new national idea sets, bonusses unique to that country. The sets were initially designed by me and tweaked through feedback and playtesting.
The bonusses were based on historical context and the history of the previous game’s timeline as well.

The map setup was hand made based on the previous game’s timeline, the cultures, religions, political, & development were based on this. I also moved trade ports around to signify the important trade hubs in this timeline, changing the value of provinces from those of the base game, creating a different experience.
